Students at remote bush schools have no light to study at night and are busy with chores during the day, so they fall behind in their  lessons.   At every school I visit, teachers plead for night illumination. We have now trained nomads to manufacture and install lighting.   Your donation would benefit not only the students,  but the nomads who are beginning to earn an income from the manufacture and installation of solar  panels.

The-vitamin-rich-leaves of the moringa tree can greatly enhance a  nomad’s diet. This year, as a holiday gift, consider a donation of $35 which will make it possible for a child in one of our communities to plant and care for a moringa tree. Your gift will cover the cost of seeds, tools, and a prize when the tree reaches  three feet tall.

Unite to Light, is a not for profit corporation dedicated to providing low cost lighting to those without electricity, and eliminating the health and environmental issues associated with existing light sources used by this population, such as kerosene.  Nomad Foundation has partnered with them to provide solar lighting and small business opportunities  to the nomads.  For a $25 donation you can purchase a light for yourself and one for a nomad (or two for a nomad).
