June 16th–Nomad African market sale

Opens Third Friday night at 5 PM–when Ojai stays open late for shopping.

Sale continues 11-5 Saturday to benefit the expansion of out traditional birth attendant training

on the patio at

October-November –New mission to Niger

 Dr. Rebecca Jones and Midwife Pat Manzon will re certify the existing traditional birth attendants at Tamesna and expand the program to another remote community of Iferouane –the gateway to the desert.

October 5-21–New mission to Niger

With a new team including Dr. Rebecca Jones and Mary Ann O’Connor will check on the midwives, the clinic, school and all the current projects in Niger.

October 14-16–Tamesna Festival

In our fourth year, this year will feature, in addition to traditional dances and Tamesna student productions, a guitar competition for young Tuareg guitarists.
