Amoumoun,  is the oldest son of Faretane and Kalilo.  Faretane was very committed to the school and was the president of the management committee, but sadly he passed away three years ago, but his wife Kalilo remains committed and even takes care of many students whose parents do not live nearby.  He has been here since the beginning.  In 2015 he participated in a skit at the Tamesna festival about the importance of education for girls, in front of a crowd of hundreds.  He did great!  He skipped fifth grade and is now enrolled in junior high, staying with his sister Aghaichita with his aunt in Agadez.  The family just sold two camels so they could buy a motorcycle to take the kids to school.  So committed they are to the children’s  education

Faretane family in Agadez where Aghaichita and Amoumoun will stay while going to junior high.
