Each year we receive a generous donation of sunglasses and corrector glasses from Eyes on Africa. As a result of this we see a lot of eyes. On mission or in the clinic we note many cataracts which we often see in people in their 30’s. The need for cataract surgery was apparent. When we learned that the best eye surgeon in Niger now lives in Agadez. When we approached him asking if he could do a mission to Tamesna, he responded with a precise estimate the same afternoon. For $12,000 he can do 100 operations in five days. A crew of five will help with pre-op consultations and post op follow up. Please help us make this happen in October 2018.
