Fatima accompanied us to Iferouane last year and tried out her new teaching skills. She was initially discouraged by differences between the Ingall and Iferouane dialects but persevered. She continues to be one of the most active and astute matrones we work with.

Fatima welcomes her “patient” Lalli who has just gone into “labor” (to deliver a pillow) with Abulkou in assistance.
