Tefest is a star pupil and leader. She is either first or second in class in close competition with Mahmoud Ahmed and her brother Ahmed. She is in the top class who all skipped to sixth grade and are now enrolled in junior high school. She and her brother Ahmed are staying with Sidi Mamane’s family in Agadez.
She is one of the four children of Issouf Bazo at Tamesna school. He has been the guardian at the Tamesna since its opening in 2009. He is an indispensable member of our team and he is very happy to have a school nearby for his children. She has become a leader at school and exudes confidence. She is also a talented singer who sang the praises of the Tamesna Center for Nomadic Life at its opening celebration.
