After bouncing over the non roads we reached a nomads tent where we picked up an old man who is the local dinosaur expert.
He is the head of an association to protect the dinosaurs. Although we wondered if it is not perhaps too late to protect the dinosaurs we were happy to see his attempts.
He showed us something he had found while digging a well that is surely a bone, but we could not tell what it was.

There are many sites that nomads have discovered where bones of dinosaurs are buried in the sand. When they find them they usually rebury them to protect them from theft or being destroyed. Sidi wants to get an expert to oversee a project to create small sites where nomads have found bones and tracks that could be cordoned off and protected. Giving people the opportunity to see these in their original locations and give the nomads a small income from charging tourists to visit and at the same time protect the bones and tracks from damage from weather and vandalism. Sidi is always thinking.

We thought we were in the middle of nowhere. This nomad came strolling up, stood with us for awhile and then strolled on away. Nomads are everywhere…and nowhere.

Wow. Your journey sounds amazing! Thanks for your good work.
