A big thank you to Elizabeth Doody who raised $1200 for the Nomad Foundation. She worked hard to raise her market lamb and sell it at the Ventura County fair. She not only worked hard to raise the lamb, but to market it. Here is her poster. Thanks from the Nomad Foundation for helping us, and from the nomads whose lives will be better because of your effort.
Thank you, Ms. Clark, for your support of my daughter’s endeavor!
She is proud to be able to donate to your organization, and I personally would like to thank you for recognizing her efforts… We are still waiting for the official total from the fair office, but as of now she has raised over 1,500.00$ for the Nomad Foundation!
Sincerely,
Kady Doody
Wow–$1500! You should be very proud of her–I am.
Good Job Elizabeth! Your lamb looks fabulous and so do you in your 4H whites..

.I have been to Niger to help and to travel with the Tuaregs and with Leslie. Your contribution is so needed and so selfless. The children of the Nomads hunger for education and their faces light up when they learn new things even as small as blowing up a balloon. We take it for granted but they squeal with joy and delight.
I visited several schools when I was there this last winter and read a teachers lesson plans while we were waiting to start the medical clinic in the village…I was proud to know that this teacher valued her own efforts in instruction by writing and preparing such meticulous well written plans.
Being a teacher myself, I can see the value that this has to the student and their community.
Your efforts will affect an entire community…THANK YOU!!!
