We had time to visit the garden which is just starting to produce onions, fennel and moringa.
Below is the onion “nursery” which will be transplanted soon. We hope for a harvest in April.

YEH GARDENS! If one could just imagine a life without water at your finger tips! Then you can imagine what an accomplishment a growing garden in this region is….
Our water was shut off for one day on this last Monday and oh my goodness all the things you CANNOT do when NO water is available…I was thinking of how my life would change if water was not through the faucet, hose, toliet, dishwasher, clothes washing machine etc.
So these gardens with their water conscious areas of concentration to the plants are Fabulous!
Fresh Food for the table, to sell at the market, and to use for good health.
The Moringa Trees are much bigger than mine but then I have "lost" them twice and they came back! Good thing because I go out every morning to get my VITAMINS for the day:o)
SALUBRIOUSLY YOURS!
