Premier of Roadtrip:Niger

Benedicte Schoyen wanted me to show the film she had made  to the people who were in it and those most interested–who live in Niger.  The film is about the Nomad Foundation’s work in Niger and the voyage of the American filmmakers, new to Niger, in 2013.

First showing was to a group of American army now based in Agadez.

The second showing was at Tamesna Center for many of the people who were in the film.

And finally at the American Cultural Center in Niamey.

Deneyse Kirkpatrick, director of the American Cultural Center, Akoli Daouel, Leslie, Rhissa Ag Bulla. No two Tuareg have done more for their people than these two. I was honored they came and spoke highly of the film and the work of the Nomad Foundation.

Great work Leslie! Good to see Fagaga and his guitar. I see that despite the challenges, all is well!
