After a week of organization–preparing the residence for an onslaught of guests, Linda Lamb and I welcomed the film crew consisting of Benedicte Schoyen, Ned Clark and Cooper Bates. After three days on the road from Los Angeles, they didn’t miss a beat. Bennie got acquainted our security first.
Then we visited a bustling well, where nomads spend part of almost every day of their lives. In the dry season when the well is low they can spend 48 hours waiting for their turn.
One of our future goals is to bring power sources to the wells either wind or solar, to relieve them of this burden and allow the kids to attend school — “pink shoes” below will unlikely have the time.
